Query params: q (search), limit (default 20, max 50), and verified to filter for verified organizations.

Read

Structured outline (Table of Contents) for a resource.

Returns a JSON array of headings with depth, size estimates, and token counts so assistants can jump to the right section without streaming the entire document.

Read

Fetches the content of a specific heading path.

Parameters:

includeChildren: set to 1 or true to fetch nested sections.
part: zero-indexed integer to page through huge headings.

Function-call version of the catalog. Ideal for assistants that prefer structured outputs over raw HTTP calls.

kb.read

Universal reader: pass any kb:// URI to retrieve its outline or heading content. Handles chunking for you.

Publishing workflow

Teams and personal publishers follow the same high-level flow when shipping a resource.

Create: Draft a resource in the dashboard or via the resources API. Upload structured content (Markdown, HTML, or chunked text) and set discovery metadata.
Outline: portacall.ai automatically generates the outline and chunk manifests. You can regenerate manually if headings change.
Publish: Once verified, change status topublished. Private resources stay accessible via the team workspace; public ones appear in the global catalog.
Monitor: Credits and usage roll up under the owning account. Use the dashboard analytics tab or query /api/usage to audit access.
